Best Moments Reply 1988/Answer Me 1988 Episode 8 [Greenhazel Version]

Okay, another hard choose. But actually i have one scene in this episode which really touch my heart.
Kim Jung Bong. This episode is tribute to this hyung. He usually a dork, and kind of weird hyung, but in this episode we learn that.. he is sick. He has a heart disease, and he already went under big surgery a year ago, and he will be doing some smaller surgery which is procedural. He is kind of nervous about this, but his family looks absolutely relax.

The Best Moment Episode 8.

That 3% of chance, scare me so much.

I also think that he kind of too much when he bring all his favorite item and give them to Junghwan.

Junghwan shake him off, "I've already look about that surgery, people said that the possibility to failed is less than 3%."

Jung Bong look at him and said, "People said that the possibility for a child got heart disease from birth is less than 2%. So, that 3% scared me."

I feel like being hammer on my head when i hear he said that. Maybe it sound so simple, but actually that scared the patient so much, that possibility..

And also the moment at the hospital killing me. Jung Bong and Mi Ran Mom. Jung Bong scared and can't sleep even that his surgery is tomorrow and he actually need rest. His mom reassure him that the surgery is simple, and no even a little chance to being failed.

But Jung Bong said, "Because mom is a strong person, but your son has a weak body.. also weak heart." and that got his mom teary. "Why will my child weak? You are so strong because you take after mom.. Do you think just anyone can overcome that difficult surgery like you did? Jung Bong a~ That's incredible. You are definitely more stronger than mom.. more greater.

But where is mom that have no worry about her son? where is dad that have no worry about his son?

Simple and Difficult, Small or Big are not the problem, but being considerate even with a simple word, actually you can give someone strength.

Best Moments Reply 1988/Answer Me 1988 Episode 7 [Greenhazel Version]

My Best Moment for Episode 7 is Junghwan dan Deoksun's moment at the holy stairs of Sammundong.

Can I said that as a confession? hahaha.. Junghwan's style of confession. >.<

But Junghwan is so kind that i feel bad for him so much.

Look at how different his action when he knows his friend like the girl he likes and when not. Actually, i think he is not that silent love type, he said it.. not so straightforward but he say it out loud, and actually just a little step behind to "clear", about what he means.

Junghwan comes to Deok Sun when she called, and of course they go home together, they practically live in the same house.

Deok Sun start to wonder why Jung hwan came, he is not that kind of style who will run to her just with one call. Sun Woo, maybe, but of course not Jung hwan. So of course the only thing she can think is that Jung Hwan is her manitto, the one who will give her present on Christmas.

But Junghwan deny instantly, of course not.. his manitto is Taek, he said. So why will he come? 

Just like Junghwan get frustrated that Deok Sun doesn't get how his feeling, me too shout on her face so much. (i even pause at her face and blabbers on her, not that this kind of action can make it works).

"With that brain of yours, think carefully. Why would I come? Understand?" and walk away.

Deok Sun last narration: "Time flew and left behind some separation and regret. If you love someone, you need to say it now. You have to say it before the time spent in living turns into regret. Maybe, the biggest present left by the time.. is the memory of being loved. So before it's being too late, fight your embarrassment and confess : "To you.. The one I love."

And just if Jung Hwan hears that narration... #cuppingmyfaceandcry.

Okay.. i think i just suicide again.. because it make me once again fall down and can't move on.. 

Even that just yesterday.. i already can laugh and laugh very much at one of Jun Yeol's comment in Reply 1988 concert.

Choi Sung Won-ssi (as No Eul) ask Jun Yeol to say the sweet moment that he remembered as Jung Hwan. So Jun Yeol kind of ask the audience about what the moment they remembered but suddenly he said, "someone said, it's too late.. get lost!" 

hahahahha.. Oh My Gosh, He is so Funny!

No Eul is so handsome! Ups! out of focus :p

By the way that's the best moment of episode 7 for me, of course i like Taek's father moment of hesitation saying his love to Taek but.. Junghwan's moment have a more place in my heart :p

Best Moments Reply 1988/Answer Me 1988 Episode 6 [Greenhazel Version]

My Best Moment for Episode 6 is actually none. Yup, none, but actually this episode has the first twist.
While from episode 1-5, we being fed up that the potential husband is Sun Woo and Jung Hwan, this episode tell us that Sun Woo is out.
I should have warn myself this time tough, so that i can prepared to be fool for the next 14 episodes.

Even this is not the best moment, but actually this is the unforgettable moment to me, the first snow, but not when Sun Woo tell Bora that He likes her, also not when Deok Sun cry like crazy because she knows Sun Woo likes her sister, also not when Junghwan smile like a fool when he realize Sun Woo likes Bora not Deok Sun. But when Taek call Deok Sun and asked her to go watch a movie with him.

That cute Taek, first move.
From "Should we go to see a movie?" and change it to "Let's go watch a movie."

Taek is more brave than what he shows. He is so earnest, and innocent.

So even that this is not the best moment, but certainly this is what i will remember when it first snow. Ups.. i got my feeling on me >.<

Best Moments Reply 1988/Answer Me 1988 Episode 5 [Greenhazel Version]

Episode 5 is a little easy choose.
I like this scene very much that i vote this as the best scene in Junghwan-Deoksun's Romance.

Deoksun stay in the study room till midnight, but she overslept actually, not study.. and it's also not the first day she did this.
Junghwan who is already has feeling on her get worry and wait for her everyday. But that day was raining and the day was deeper.
Junghwan wait outside and give her an umbrella while said, "Go home earlier." and then walk away.
Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaa... Oh my gosh i like this scene so much.. so so much.

Ryu Jun Yeol himself has also mention this scene in his v-app, and he said that his fans told him to write that phrase on their signature paper. Well, if i meet him one day, and if i still remember this drama, i will also want him to write that phrase for me.. Hahahahha ^^

So this is the best moment of Reply 1988 episode 5.

Best Moment of Reply 1988/Answer Me 1988 Episode 4 [Greenhazel Version]

Another hard choose, Friendship? Family? or Romance?

Actually, i am a romance lover but in this episode, Junghwan's reaction for relieve his father upset mood is touch me, so i choose family.

The best moment of reply 1988 episode 4 is "Junghwan reacted his father's gag" scene.
Although he is kind of silent type, he also sensitive enough to feel about everyone around him. He did know that his father like to acting silly and he kind of get used to avoid his gag. But when suddenly his father get upset, Junghwan is the child who know and want to understand him.

So glad that we still have that old soul Dong Ryong who knows exactly what happen and how to solve the problem. "All you have to do, is reaction."

So Junghwan kind of pushing himself so that he can react to his father's gag, which is so much hard because he isn't the type who did.

And that make his father shock also.

But it was so funny ^_^

So aside of this scene, i also love how the friendship between the gang, when Taek feeling down because losing his game. Everyone tip a toe around him, but the friend just casually bring that lose thing and laugh it off like nothing. 

 

And the romance.. hoooo.. how can i forget that protect her in the bus scene?

So that is the best moment of episode 4, for me. How about you?

Best Moment of Reply 1988/Answer Me 1988 Episode 3 [Greenhazel Version]

Even tough I really appreciate that this season of Answer Me, is about family and friendship, but you can't really ignore the loveline when you watch a Korean Drama, isn't it?

So for Episode 3, after consider one and another, i decide that this scene is the most memorable and cute and really really fluttery ^^

Best scenes :
Jung Hwan and Deok Sun hide and trapped at the small road at the alley.

The boys and Deok Sun got to be on MT at the same location, while Deok Sun concern is all about the dance performance for her walkman. The boys concern is all about alcohol.

Deok Sun begs Dong Ryong to bring the boys to be on the performance and Jung Hwan force Deok Sun to take care on their drink. Sounds like a win win solution for me.

Accept that, the boys really help her win the walkman but she forgot their drink. #rollingeyes.

And to make it worse, teacher run on the boys who come out without permission to help her in the performance and start to run after them. Which Deok Sun still wave brightly because he is also Dong Ryong's Dad. So.. Sun Woo and Dong Ryong run fast, and straight to the up, while Jung Hwan pull Deok Sun aside and hide between a small space in the alley, and they stuck to each other, fully close skinship hahahahaha #excited.

First, they just too tired to feel anything but slowly.. they start to realize that their body stuck to each other. Her face to his chest, her chest to his stomach and.. his lower body?
I just think this scene so "cleaver", they bring you something sexy without really give you the sexiest thing. I mean, They both fully dressed, not kissing, not hugging and nothing romance thing.. but feel so sexy that i can't really forget this scenes even a week after!

Really well made and good planned! hahaha..
Watching this again make me feel excited and fluttery.. ^_^

Best Moment Reply 1988/Answer Me 1988 Episode 2 [Greenhazel Version]

I admit that episode 2 have so many great scenes, and to choose one is a torture.
But i have to. and so for today i wanna present The Best Moment of Reply 1988/Answer Me 1988.

So for me, this is the best scene for Episode 2.
Sun Woo always eat her mother's cook, even how bad that it tastes.

Just like Deok Sun, Sun Woo is also picture as a considerate son, which grew up with a single mother and have a cute little sister, but Sun Woo also the class president, a good student, a good friend and also a good son.
Her mother is already known as a bad cook but Sun Woo always eat her cook without complain.

One day, Sun Woo go home late and in his way to his house, he remember that he still doesn't finish his meals that his Mom packed for him, so he quietly hide and eat that meal, which is bad as always and to make it worse, already cold.
I like when the voice over said : Sometimes it's okay to be in delusion, if eating Mom's meal can make her think that she is a good cook, than that is the easiest thing to do.
It's fine to be in delusion sometimes, don't need to force the harsh truth onto a small bit of happiness, because sometimes you need delusion to be happy.

Sun Woo make me think, what kind of child am I.. and how i should love my mom just like him. Even that many scenes of this episode so great, this one touch me the most.

And just say just say haha.. i think i should add one more scene that i like from this episode, actually the message is link of.

Taek and Deok Sun's Dad conversation about Mother.

Deok Sun's Dad ask Taek, when is the time he miss his late mother the most. Taek teary answer him, "Everyday.. Everyday i miss my mom."

Mom is someone we miss the most, alive or not, Dad said.

Delution is short, but misunderstanding last a long time, that's why delusion offer freedom but misunderstanding chain you down.

The first time i watch this, just to hear Taek said "everyday" make my cry, but when i write this time, i just feel touch.. but not get teary anymore ^^

I really love and hate this drama for the same time!

But despite from my satisfactory for the love line,
I wanna present....

The Best Scenes from Reply 1988/Answer Me 1988 in my opinion!

Episode 1.
The Cake Only For Deok Sun-The Always Give Up Second Child

Deok Sun is picture as a considerate second child, she maybe not that kind little girl but she always know how to give up things for her siblings because her parents is poor. But one day, after all the hard things she face, she suddenly blow up all of her unsatisfactory to her parents.

Why the bad things have to always happen on her? Why she have to give up egg for breakfast? Why she have the chicken's wing instead of her favorite chicken's leg? Why she have to celebrate her birthday with her sister? Use the wasted candle and name Deok Sun while her sister name Bora and her brother name No Eul? Why always her? (Deok Sun is considered not so pretty name for woman)

One day, her father bring her a cake. A whole cake just for her.

"Mom and Dad feel sorry. We do that because we just don't know. When the first child born, we wonder how to grew her up, when the second born, we wonder how to teach her well, when the third child born, we wonder how to make him a good person.. Your dad too.. wasn’t a father when he was born. Being a father too is the first time for Dad.. So I hope for your understanding. My daughter have grew beautiful." he said.

And then her father tell her to blow the candles and she have the cake all for herself. And the voiceover said, "I don't mind to always sacrifice because i think my parents will know, but sometimes the family might be don't know, but knowing isn’t all that important, because what matters isn’t the head, but the heart that leads us to walk hand-in-hand. And that heart is family."



This scene make me cry a river.

I really feel sad for Deok Sun and genuine understand the parents, no one really wanna hurt each other.. just because in life.. sometimes you hurt the people around unconsciously..



When she gave up her favorite food or when she have to celebrate her birthday with her sister, she just hold it on because she try to being considerate, but she also need to be valued. That's so human.



And when the desperate heart being blow up, she just think that everything is unfair for her, even her name. But then just with one cake, she understand how her father heart and than she understand that she has to be considerate, because they are her family after all.

Great Scene! And I remember this scene so much and love it so much until i have to cry all over again just to write this hiks hiks.. >.<

[Fanfiction] Reply 1988/Answer Me 1988 - The Gang of Ssamundong Part 1 (After Junghwan's Confession)

Dong Ryong drunk very much, and Taek arrived when they just dragging Dong Ryong out from the cafe. Junghwan look awkward at first but quickly maintained his annoyed tone, "Why are you so late!" Sun Woo answered with dry laugh, "He must be get lost."
Taek bitting his below lips, and answer, "Sorry."
"Deok Sun ah~ you drive Junghwan's car and take Dong Ryong with you. I need to buy something for my mom, so i will go with Taek." Sun Woo said.
"I'll do it." Junghwan said. Sun Woo hit his hand, "You drank before! You can't drive."
Junghwan steal a glance at Deok Sun when she look at Taek and asked him gently.
"Have you eat?" Deok Sun asked Taek and he nod. "Okay then." Deok Sun said.
Junghwan just cracked a little smile. He did good, he already said what he want to say and he never expected Deok Sun to accept him, so now.. he can let go.
Jung Hwan hand her his car's key but suddenly Deok Sun wanna go to the bathroom and running in while the guys shout and laugh at her.
Deok Sun walk to the bathroom but her eyes suddenly catch a glimpse of Junghwan's ring which just lay on the table, she walk through the way to the table they sat earlier and see the ring, slowly she pick up the ring that Jung Hwan left there. She smile and suddenly all the things come to her mind.
They are always together.. she and Junghwan.. of course also Sunwoo and Dong Ryong, even before Taek join them. Bickering, laughing, playing and lean on each other. When he is poor or after their family become wealthy. Jung Hwan is always beside her. When exactly is the feelings change? Deok Sun caress the ring while her mind flew to those sweet moments in her high school's day. She always think that Sun Woo is her first love, she like him and even give him a chocolate and candy secretly, but now.. she remember the feeling when she was with Junghwan.
When Jung Hwan silently protected her on the bus so she can comfortably standing without being thrown all over. When Jung Hwan wait her in the middle of the night, in rain.. handing her his umbrella and told her to go home earlier. And she crack a smile while she remember how she caught him reading dirty novel back then. When Jung Hwan came to the McDonald, and the ride which they go home together and she remember what he said then while cupping her face, “Use that head of yours and think carefully. Why did I come?” and the pink gloves Junghwan gave her. His nosebleed that make her concern even that she just sway it go. When she thought someone following her at the dark but that's turn out be Junghwan and his "sleep well" in gentle tone. Their first date at the concert, and while he wrap around her shoulder when they took a picture. When she asked him should she go to a blind date, and he answer her with the answer she wanted, when he told her don't go. When she and her family stayed at his house, run in outside the bathroom and while he hand her stuff and make her embarrassed so much, when he suddenly take a distance from her, rejected her for concert just for accepted that later when she asked him by looking at his eyes. She thought that he loved her before, she really thought that he loved her, but every moment later, Junghwan just keeping a distance from her. And then, she suddenly felt lost. Even when she try to get close to him, he didn't respond. Even when she gave him a present, he give it away, so start from that time, she pulling off her heart for him. She didn't wanna get hurt. But heard Junghwan's confession earlier, suddenly waking her memories and then.. slowly, she keep the ring inside her pocket before walking to the toilet in tears. Junghwan really love her. The confession is truth. She can feel it, because just like that night when she asked him for the concert, she can see through his eyes.

Deok Sun walking out slowly and she see all the guys face one by one, They poke on Dongryong drunk face, and laughing together while leaning on Junghwan's jeep. Sun Woo's laughing face, Dong Ryong stupid smile in his drunkness, Taec's innocent smile and Junghwan's tiny smile.
Taek suddenly look at her and wave to her, while Sun Woo shout at her, "Come here! Quickly! Dong Ryong already passed out!"
Right. She loved Junghwan before, and she think that feeling still there, somewhere in her heart but the time passed and that love is not the most important thing again in her life. Deok Sun walk slowly towards Taek and look at his hand, "You don't wear gloves?" she asked worriedly, and then hand Taek a pair of gloves from her pocket and tell him to drive carefully.
"I know! I'm not  a child again." he answered. Deok Sun just smile and then walking to Junghwan's jeep. Junghwan look at Dong Ryong helplessly and with his grumpy character, carry him to the back seat and then jump to sit beside Deok Sun.
Taek drive away in front of her and Deok Sun drive slowly after and then this is maybe the first time for Deok Sun and Junghwan to be awkward.
"Junghwan a~" Deok Sun try to open the conversation. Junghwan look a little panicked when he start to cut her off.
"Hahhhhhh.. i'm gonna sleep. Don't wake me." He leaning his head to the side. Deok Sun hate this side of Junghwan, he always avoid her when she want to face him, just like before.
"You will leave me drive alone?" she said annoyed.
"Oh." Junghwan answer and close his eyes. Deok Sun pout but just drive anyway. After awhile, she take a glance at passed out Dong Ryong and then look at -not moving- Jung hwan. She knows he isn't sleeping, but will act like she believed he do.
She look to the road and start to say softly. "Ya gaejungpal a~ why now.. why are you acting like an idiot when you can just tell me that you love me earlier.. more more earlier. You know what, maybe we will be so different.. Remember what you said at the restaurant? I remember all the things you said before. Even that you said that you just granting Dong Ryong's wish but you don't say that you are kidding so i will take it as the truth. That time too.. i love you. Junghwan a~ That time too, I love you and concern about you.." she said, and a tears fall down on her face. "And i want you just love me the same. But the stupid things are, we love in the same way.. you know, i did that too, wake up early in the morning just to go to school with you. And me too, want to see you more that a dozen times a day and always happy when i look at you. I love the gift you gave me on Christmas, and i'm so regret that i never say thank you. And I'm happy that you like the gift i gave you. You don't know how much i'm being hurt when i saw Jung Bong oppa wore that.." She laugh a bit, bitterly.
Junghwan is awake, but he still closing his eyes and listen to Deok Sun carefully.
"For me, Sun Woo, Dong Ryong, Taek, and you is the most important guys right after my family. But the person that i concern more.. is Taek."
Junghwan feel his heart drop that time, but he still closing his eyes and not moving.
"I love you, but i also love Taek. And while you can do all the things right just by yourself, Taek need me.. So i can't be with you. I'm so sorry." Deok Sun bitting her below lips when she continued, "You won't hate me right? You will always be my friend, right? You will take a good care for yourself, right? You will become more awesome, more great, right? You will not fall down just because of this, right? You will happy..... right?" Deok Sun wipped her tears but the tears keep falling. Junghwan let her cry, and without the two even realized. Dong Ryong open his eyes a little and he still drunk, but he heard all and he just silently look at the two.

"We're arrived." Deok Sun pat on Junghwan thigh, and he slowly open his eyes and take a glance at her red eyes. "Drag him off." she said. Junghwan just nod and jump off the jeep. He slowly drag Dong Ryong while Deok Sun help him a little, and they safely throw him to his bed.
Deok Sun awkwardly walk to the gate. Junghwan look at her back and said in his mind. "I won't hate you, you know i never do. I will always be your friend, because i just can't go back, i will always take care of myself and you don't have to be worry about me because i will never fall down if you asked me to do so.. i will happy.. i will." And Junghwan kick her back of knee while grinning, "Ya Babo!"
Deok Sun glare at him, "Bwo?!"
"Gomapta.." he said just that but continue in his mind, for answer my confession even that i did it like that. Deok Sun look at him, "For what?" she asked.
"For the shirt?" he said.
"Why you suddenly..?"
"But why pink? You really buy it for me or for yourself? And why you give me the same as your friend give to my hyung?" he asked annoyingly like always.
"What are you saying?"
"That shirt that my hyung wear before! Mi Ok ssi gave her the same one. How can i wear the same, hah? Crazy girl." he said, and while grumpy his face crack a bitter smile.
"I don't know." she said and then realize, "Mi Ok that bitchy!"
Junghwan smile and laugh freely, he explained what he need to say and accept what he want to hear. Deok Sun look at him too and she laugh the same, until they don't even know why they are laughing. That's their friendship, they are like this and Junghwan's first love end here.
Taek and Sun Woo arrived just when they walk out from Dong Ryong's house. Taek look at them and Junghwan's eyes met his eyes. Junghwan smile at him and he is too.

Experience and Feelings for Reply 1988/ Answer me 1988

After finishing this series, i decide to write my experience and how i feel after crazy watching and read all the opinion from other site about this stories.

Answer Me 1988 is the third series following two successor Answer me 1997 and Answer 1994, in my case, i just watch 1997 and just read 1994 at other site without really interest to watch it. 

I'm following Korean Drama but actually a little bit choosy about them, i don't say that i just watch good drama, but actually some have to catchy to make me watch it, and i have to say that Answer Me 1988 is one of the drama which catch me fully (and also dump me badly.......)

I watch this movie, first is because Park Bo Gum, who actually said will got his first lead male at the series. And i know him from his role as a young Dong Seok in Wonderful Days, and deeply like him when he played as a younger brother of Lee Hyun in I Remember You. I think he is cute and lovely and has a great talent in acting, so when i hear that he will be the lead role in Reply 1988, i'm excited.

So, the cover out and i realized that he maybe not just the one and only lead male. Because he just stand at the really corner side and not really look like a lead male.
Some people already know about Go Kyung Pyo too because he have a quite lot drama series, but i don't really know him, but he quite catchy at the cover and some site say that he is the lead male. 
For Lee Dong Hwi, i think people already know that his role is more like a supporting one, just like the Answer Me successor which always have his kind of role.
The problem is Ryu Jun Yeol which actually not as famous as Kyung Pyo and Bo Gum but the most catchy at the cover (because he is the only one who sit down? i don't know..)
So the stories begin, they are friends that live and grew up at the same little street Ssamundong, which that time without digital, internet and you don't need to have a reason, but just to be around each other to become friends.
The stories focus on the family matters, friendship and a little bit lovelines. This series kinda slow one which actually feel really real and also warm.. (so real that it's sometimes depressing and cruel)
but you don't have to hurry a memories, because it slow for you to feel.

So just like another Answer Me Series, there is always a mystery of "husband", this time they wrap it a little bit different. Because the character was 18th at 1988, so they will be around 40 at 2015, so they decide to give the character to the older actor/actresses, that's mean they show you the husband but don't tell you who #rolleyes.

This series built a really bond stories about family and really sweet when it comes to lovelines. But they also prepared a lot of twist. The question, is the ending which out now is the real ending? because some looks off and not wrap fully like their successors, maybe they really change it at the last moments just like some of the people thought, but for me, after feeling depressed and consider it awhile, i decide that.. yes, this is what the writer want to give us.
They want to give us a little bit different Answer Me 1988, and they succes to built up a strong bond of character one and another, but for me they play a little bit too much for the lovelines and that make the story tied a little bit off.

First, i think that the husband will be between Kyung Pyo, and Jun Yeol, so even tough i really sad that Bo Gum is not the "lead male" i'm still in this movie because all the moments were so sweet, so touchy and so real. But then suddenly Kyung Pyo was thrown out from the list to be a husband, and Bo Gum in. I just like.. Wenyeol?? (Hyeri catchphrase at the series), but become more excited about the series.

 Many other site start to built team for Choi Taek (Bo Gum) or team Jung Hwan (Jun Yeol) and i'm is one of the people who actually love Choi Taek but believe that the husband will be Jung Hwan. I cheer for Jung Hwan and prepare to give warm hug for Taek. 

I mean Jung Hwan have an early start! He loves her first! At least as the viewer, we know his heart first! He was such a good kid! a good friend! and he cares of her more than she knows! he is the perfect one that always be the hero at all others series, right? the type that you can't resist.

The type that bickering with you the most, but actually care for you, protect you and loves you.. without you know.








The one who protect you at the bus.

The one who wait when you late, and give you umbrella when it rains.






The one who stop you from a blind date.




So I naturally think that he will be the husband. Aside from all the clue that always not ever being the clues like other Answer Me series, i actually read all the opinion about the husband and decide that all the clues is actually an open clues that the scriptwriter can drag anyone from the friends to be the husband. Anyone, even Dong Ryong.. because when she said the husband is clever, Dong Ryong also clever in the wise way? So everyone can be the husband.

Even when the show throw us the sweet moments from Taek, i still believe that Junghwan is the husband.

I actually never think that he will the be husband, and i think it's a little weird now. Like.. WHY? How can i'm not realized that the scriptwriter plan to make him as the FINAL husband?
Why i can't realized that?
Even that the show throw us the most shocking scenes! Dreamy but actually Real Kiss! #rollingeyes.


Maybe because after six years of waiting, Junghwan still holding her like that?





No. I realized what the big off feeling now. They make the stories from Jung Hwan point of view, and then slowly show a little bit Taek point of view, but earlier episodes all is from Jung Hwan point of view! If he is not the husband, and at last no one ever know what his feelings and how he loves her, how can they imagine things or even tell a story from his point of view? A little bit off but then the show also throw Taek's point of view, so why i don't suspicious that he will be the husband? I don't have the answer, but this actually catch me off so much that i really doesn't believe myself being fooled for 20 episodes, and then realize, that actually i'm not being fooled from the beginning. Bo Gum is the lead. If the show can talk, it will tell me "I've told you he is the lead. This is his first lead!" XD

Okay, so Park Bo Gum for the win! Yay! Congratulations.

But my question is.. how about the other one? How about Jung Hwan?

 After the show still give us this kind of scenes..

 and then make him realized his flaws.

and make him end his first love with sincerely turn fake confession.





What happen to HIM?

I mean, i prepared to hug Bo Gum and suddenly i have to hug Jung Hwan! #not that i hate doing that, but i just not prepared myself!
And when i still hoping the show will give us a little bit hope and love for Jung Hwan, the show cruelly cut his scenes for two last episodes and he doesn't even have a paper length of dialogue! other site said that even bottle of soju have more scenes than him at 2 last episodes #drylaugh.

So i little bit disappointed about how the scriptwriter doesn't do something about Junghwan, he maybe not the husband, but he is the character that built this stories as much as others so how can he just gone like that?
At last but not the least, i also sad that they don't make anything about Dong Ryong too..

But i can understand why Jung Hwan not be the husband. Okay, he has his flaw and that can be fatal from the relationship, which he is too hesitated and worrisome, and will always like that if he face Deok Sun while Taek is there. Because he is just like that! and that make me remember how i silently love someone back then, in my school time #nostalgic.

Tragic but true, but real. But then.... why it have to be that real show? T-T

But! I applaused at the last moment when Deok Sun comeback to the street, while the street is already uninhibited and neglected, and when she walk into the room, she looks at the gangs together like the first episodes start, but not with smile, instead with tears. Because they are her youth, which shine bright and beautiful in her memories, but will never come back again. But when she ask them "Why are you guys there?" Junghwan answers, "Why are we here? Where would we have gone?"
That touch me! Yepp.. that's memories, while they are just flew away but actually always there.
and the last narrates : I couldn’t return to my youth, and I couldn’t return to that street either. Time flows, everything passes by, and ages. The reason that youth is beautiful is because of that. Because at a brilliant moment, you shine so brightly that it’s blinding, but you can never go back."

This series maybe doesn't give the best ending, but it taught me that ending also can be like this, a little bit float here and there but you can't ask more, because it is the end.

BUT.. i'd like to make myself an alternate ending, which attribute to mostly Junghwan and other who doesn't have their part wrap beautifully. Next... Today is just like this. ^_^
